A woman quits her job to return to her family plagued by the deaths of male members. Finding the remaining women apathetic, she resolves to empower them towards independence and self-reliance.
ಬಿಷ್ಣು ತನ್ನ ಉದ್ಯೋಗವನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿ, ಪುರುಷ ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಮರಣದಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿರುವ ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಮರಳುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಉಳಿದಿರುವ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ನಿರಾಸಕ್ತರಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾವಲಂಬನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರತೆಯತ್ತ ಶಕ್ತಿಮಂತಳಾಗಿಸಲು ಅವಳು ದೃಢನಿಶ್ಚಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾಳೆ.

Tribeny Rai, (b. 1991) in Nandok village, East Sikkim, is a trailblazing filmmaker and Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI) graduate specializing in direction and screenplay writing. She focuses on women's lived experiences in the Eastern Himalayas through acclaimed shorts like MEMORY OF A HEART (2016) and CHORI, building to her Nepali-language debut feature SHAPE OF MOMO (2025).
