Stéphanie, a police officer working for Internal Affairs, is assigned to a case involving a young man severely wounded during a tense and chaotic demonstration in Paris. While she finds no evidence of illegitimate police violence, the case takes a personal turn when she discovers the victim is from her hometown.

Dominik Moll (b. 1962), grew up in Germany before studying film at City College of New York and IDHEC. He assisted directors like Marcel Ophuls and Laurent Cantet as editor and assistant. His 1994 debut INTIMITÉ led to WITH A FRIEND LIKE HARRY (2000), a Cannes competitor that won César Awards, and LEMMING (2005), which was an opening film at the 58th Cannes FF. He later co-wrote with Gilles Marchand and prepped a 2008 project.
